Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Murrieta Marketing (“Murrieta Marketing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites (such as murrietamarketing.com and app.murrietamarketing.com), create an account, or when visitors interact with websites that use our first-party analytics snippet.

1. Who we are

Murrieta Marketing provides analytics and related tools for website operators. For privacy inquiries, contact [email protected].

2. Information we collect from customers (you)

When you register or use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed), company name, optional job title, optional company website, and similar profile information you choose to provide.
  • Billing information: if you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor (for example Stripe) collects payment card or bank details and billing address. We receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status) but do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Support and communications: messages you send us, including email content.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and log data when you use the dashboard, for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

3. Information we process about visitors to your sites

When you install our snippet on a property you control, we may process data generated by visitors’ browsers, including:

  • Page and navigation data: URL or path visited, HTTP referrer when available, timestamps, and event types you configure.
  • Pseudonymous identifiers: we derive hashed visitor and session identifiers from technical signals (for example IP address and user agent combined with rotating salts) so we can measure unique visitors and sessions without storing raw IP addresses as persistent identifiers in our analytics store.
  • Device and environment: coarse device category (such as mobile, tablet, or desktop), browser name, and operating system derived from the user agent string.
  • Geography: country or region inferred from network information (for example via our infrastructure provider’s country header when available).
  • Engagement signals: metrics such as time on page where you enable them.
  • Form and message content: if you use inbound message features, we store the payload you configure (for example field names and values submitted by visitors) so you can review submissions in the dashboard.

Our tracker is designed for first-party use on your domain. Where supported, we honor the browser’s Do Not Track signal (DNT: 1) by not recording analytics events for that request.

Important: You are responsible for your own privacy notices and for obtaining any required consents from your visitors under applicable laws.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service (including dashboards, reports, audits, and performance features).
  • Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Communicate with you about the Service, including transactional emails and (where permitted) product updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions)

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract with you; legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service (balanced against your rights); your consent where required; and compliance with legal obligations.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers who assist us (for example hosting, database, email delivery, logging, security monitoring, and payment processing), bound by confidentiality and processing terms.
  • API and integration partners when you use features that call external services (for example Google PageSpeed Insights for lab performance data). Those providers process data under their own policies.
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.

7. Retention

We retain customer account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, legal, and dispute resolution purposes. Analytics and event data are retained for as long as needed to provide the Service and as configured within product limits; we may aggregate or delete older raw data over time. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

9. International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing purposes. If you believe we have collected a child’s information in error, contact us.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

Our dashboard may use session cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in. The analytics snippet may use storage mechanisms consistent with first-party measurement on your site. See your browser settings to manage cookies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate.
